three weeks after dropping it off at the dealer I went to get it and bring it home today.. More info in Technical Problems forum.

It is good to ride again and the motor sounds and runs like new. :D

OK, now let's go for a ride.

Congrats Mike. I had such a bad experience during my purchase at Tejas I would never consider going back there for service. Glad it turned out ok.

If you go riding the week after Xmas and want some company let me know.

Mike- Glad you got your ticker fixed and back in 3 weeks. Took mine in to CycleSports in Kerrville on Nov.29th. Found out today the head won't be back from machine shop till next week. I'm not going to vent or praise anyone yet, not until the bike is ready, tested by me and picked up. Needless to say I'm not a real happy camper right now...

Got my '04 back from Kerrville dealer yesterday, rode it down to Bandera etc. before hauling it back from Kerrville. Bike runs fine, sounds like she did out of the box, and overall I'm pretty impressed with the dealer's work and professionalism in fixin' my ticker- plus within 30 inutes of getting it home the drought has been broken- here in La Grange anyway...should have known it now that I have my ride back....Better start building our arks!...

T'sipper, glad to hear you got your '04 repaired and home again and it sounds good. Looks like your time-in-shop was about average.

My repaired '05 runs sooooo much better, as in stronger, than it did when ticking.

I'll have to ride out to La Grange so we can compare non-tickers with you.. :D
