06 California Waiters

Well I just called my dealer (South Bay Motorsports in National City, CA) just to say hi, and to see what was happening -

And I was informed that the ABS bikes are beginning delivery in March - not May. I even asked Ted if he meant May - and nope - he meant March.

He says I'll be gitting mine in early March as I ordered in October -

Has anyone else in California heard that the abs bikes are delivering in March?

Geezzz - I gotta get the garage ready NOW !!

EDIT - Feb 21 -

We are now less than 10 days from March - The Mothership is supposed to contact each waiter by email approx 10 days prior to delivery -

Post when you receive your email !!! Let us know !! I'm still very interested if we have confused dealers or not !!!

EDIT FEB 28TH

The reference to May delivery for the California "A" models has been removed from the mothership website. Gee - Maybe it never existed?

Perhaps I should have said 'A' or Manual Shift or some such thing -

However, the dealer does refer to them as ABS and AE - ergo, my statement.

Sorry if you're confused - the gist of the message is that it's coming in March, and I'm looking to see if anyone else has confirmed this for their California bike -

Actually, I've seen a post about early April, so it is possible. I hope he's right, that would be waaaay kewel for the early order waiters. OTH, I have this bridge...reasonably priced....special discount for you....

This is still different than what the mothership homepage says -

FJR A Info

"$13,499 (Cobalt Blue) Available from March 2006; CA model available May 2006"

So - this would lead me to think that they are going to start CA deliveries in March. Probably just another item that got overlooked the last time Yamamama updated the website -

No TWN, it can't be 2007. I have connections at Yamaha and have already ordered my 2007. I decided to be first in line this time for the 07's..
