After reading a few of the latest reviews I'm wondering if I made the right move by ordering the FJR-AE over the FJR-A. I'm not saying that I speed shift all the time but every now and then I like to get jiggy wit it. " Sometimes I feel like a nut, sometimes I don't." The journalist seem to rate the speed of the auto-shifter as slow to medium at best.

That being said, should I be patient and wait for the aftermarket farkles to address this issue? I would imagine that it would be simple to add a chip or maybe somehow reprogram the existing ECU to maybe cut the clutch actuation times in half. Just a thought. Maybe the PCIII would handle that as well as the fueling.

Just somethings to think about while I'm waitng patiently.

See if you can take an acceptance ride. If they won't let you, walk. If they do, see if the shifter suits your taste.
