06 Halloween SSK-1 Certified

Well I finally got my ride certified and can say it was worth the wait to get my certificate & etc.

It wasn't really about a certificate but more about what is inside a person to accomplish something like one of these rides.

I was inspired to do this ride after having thought about doing one for quite some time and then reading the ride report of Orangevale,TWN,&Bluestreaks SSK-1.

The wait wasn't so much a bummer as when I got my certificate & paperwork from Mr. Kneebone and was all happy as hell and my wife said " Are you really gonna put that plate holder thing on your bike? I think that'll look stupid like those harley guys trying to bring attention to themselves"

I won't say what I said to her,I just went out to the garage and proudly attached the plateholder to my bike and smiled.

I do not ride a bike to look cool or wear shit that supposedly lumps me with anyone but myself.

I ride because I love to ride a bike and it just so happens to be an FJR.

I have a kinship to this forum for what I have learned here through the help of others & sometime try to help others when possible.

Next ride will be a BB Gold.

Actually Jason I don't know the mileage from here to Arizona and haven't looked at a route yet but have some family friends in Gold Canyon and was thinking about a ride out there in the spring.
