Just got the call today from my dealer. I ordered in the last week of october. Asked him what the hold up was. He did some checking and found out that some of the distributers would not ship the bikes without the bags. So alot of these bikes are ready to go, but are waiting on the bags to join them before they get shipped. Strange that some of you guys got your bikes without the bags, while some of us had to wait.

Too bad they dont give the choice. I would have much rather had my bike and gone back later to get the bags (like some of you were able to do).

Looks like my wait is close to over. Monday is my day of reckoning. The Goose finally gets to land. The rest of you waiters: Hang in there!!

Just found out from my dealer that my first post of full of SH*&^%t!

My bike finally arrived at the dealer and low and behold, no bags in sight. Guy gave me a bunch of descent lip service , but i think the bottom line is that he's guessing as to why it took them so long to get these bikes. (ordered in october)

You guys that got your bikes before you bags, Whats been the usual amount of wait time in between the 2 delivery's.

thanx , and sorry about the ******** original post.

Got my bike on Friday 14th -

got my bags on the following wed - the 19th.

Was told that they were shipped seperately and actually would have probably gone to a warehouse in LA and then trucked to local dealer - but they intercepted and had them shipped direct to dealer - saving 1 or 2 days.

Make sure that you have all THREE locks under your seat when you pick up the bike - so that you will have them to install in the cases - AND the extra for the top case should you order it.
