Beeeautiful 07.

Made me go out to the garage and stare at mine.

Before you go for the risers, try all the stock bar positions. I was surprised to find that at 6'4" the frontmost position was best for me, most comfortable and most feeling of control.

Quick story about my ride home... Bought mine while on a contract job in TX. Just so happens that on the day that I was done, the FJR turned 1000 mi. Made it from Weatherford TX. to Savage, MN (1000 mi) in 14 hours ride time including hourly water/smoke/pee/and or gas stops. Saw two LEO the whole way. One was just an empty cruiser posted to slow people down and the other just glanced at me at I passed at about 85mph. I'm not going to say no pain, but I would do it again without a second thought.

Enjoy

Nice ride story. I sold my 1300 VTX when I got the FJR, and I think you'll soon be doing the same thing.

Yeah I'd definately do it again. A great way to get to konw the bike. You know come to think about it, I only saw a few LEO's also. One of which I flew by in the rain while looking for an overpass to hide under to put my rain gear on. LOL!

Very nice. I got mine from Port Washington Yamaha too. I didn't have to fly in, though I did have to drive up from Chicago. Great Guys up there.
I have to agree with you. I liked working with Port Washington Yamaha. Very nice guys. I wish I would have taken a picture of the front of their shop. It's just a small little dealer ship but sounds like they do good business and offer very fair prices.
