I have an 07 with 15K miles

The bike starts but will eventually stall in 15 seconds. If I give it a little gas it will stall immediately. If if give it a lot of gas, it will rev then stall. Between restarts - I usaully have to turn the bike fully off.

I am the third owner of the bike, but it has run excelent for the last 8 months.

Update: Went back outside to identify more symptoms, but the bike is runing fine. Is something starting to fail?

Is this warm or cold?

What's the idle speed? Concensus here is that you should run the idle at 1100 RPM. Maybe a tiny bit less if it's an AE.

the bike was cold in the sense that it hadn't been started in a week, but the outside temp was about 80. After starting the bike, I rode it for about two hours - and the problem never happened again.

Any issues with lights and gauges after the engine dies?? Ground spider issues????

Your status doesn't say what year bike, but GenII bikes had a known issue of being very difficlut to start the next time if they were shut off cold. It didn't matter how long had elapsed; if you didn't get up to temperature, the bike would find itself flooded the next time you tried to start it.

I'm not sure that's the same thing you had, as I don't think they would start and stall, they just wouldn't fire, period.
