Just bought an 08 all most a month ago. My "in town" dealership wanted just as much for an 07 that I paid to drive 100 miles for to pick up my new 2008. I got out the door at 10.7K for a reference.
An AE out the door for 10,700? You stole it! That's probably below cost.
The Tulsa dealer I bought from, is buying from other dealers, and selling skinny deals. I found them on Ebay.

I didn't not buy the bike via Ebay. He saved on fee's and passed some savings on to me.

Does not include TTL

As far as I know the 06 though 09 are the same bike. I have owned an 06AE and currently ride an 08AE. The auto clutch works the same on both bikes. I do not know why the 07 wouldn't be the same. There is a lot of good things about the AE but there are also some downsides to the AE. One of them being the price. Because of an accident I can not use my left foot to shift so the AE is a good choice for me.

How are the service costs on an AE? I previously had and R6 that I would do everything to except valve adjustments. I didn't know if it was more difficult with linked brakes and all the electrical or if everything barring the electric clutch was pretty much the same.

First time I'm seeing it. Awesome! I ride an 08AE and I really miss having the manual clutch as an option. Good job, Honda!

I miss it too, but more when im riding my girl on the back. Seems like every 2nd or 3rd time i take off we bump helmets. I got a really good deal on the bike so it doesnt bother me too much, but deep down i miss the extra control of a manual clutch.

Oddly enough, the reason i got such a steal on the bike was the guy that had it before me put right at 6 thousand miles on it and decided he couldnt stand the auto shift. He wanted a new bike and was willing to do everything but throw his wife in the deal to get rid of it. :D

Probably should have posted this here plus a better info page.

................., especially if theyre not going to make an AE anymore.

old news perhaps but which I would find ironic after checking this out on the VF1200F
