This past year my Father got out of long distance riding and gave me his FJR with 67k miles. He's an IBR rider and used this bike for many of his rides hence the high miles on an 08. I've been riding it and hoped to use it for rides with the wife, but I also have an Aprilia sportbike so when I ride I'm usually on that bike. I hate to see it sitting not being ridden so I've got it up for sale looking for someone who will enjoy it. Looking for $5300 with all the farkles, bells, and whistles. There is probably more on this bike than I' aware of so I'm just posting everything I know about.

CL ad here. https://nashville.craigslist.org/mcy/5739389705.html

Great looking black FJR ready for more miles. Cheers!

If interested reply to the CL ad as it will email me and I check email often.

Honestly, I would revise your ad where it says 67k ready for another 60k more. It really makes it sound like the FJR is only good for 120k or so,

when (In most cases) the bikes are good for much more. It sounds like the bike is half done, when in fact it is just getting broken in.

Just my opinion…

GLWS good bike for a great price!

Revised. Thanks for the input!

Price drop to $4900. Seems really low to me for this bike but there has been zero interest. If it doesn't sell before the winter, I'll just pull the ad and ride it as the winter bike since it has all the heated grips and do-hickies.

Man, $4,900 is a steal! Post it on Cycletrader too if you haven't already.

Will do thanks!

GLWS,

I've watched the Nashville area CL all year up until I bought my KYCherry and it appears the FJR is a well kept secret. Not sure what it is but they don't move.

I had my 05 posted on there at the first of the year without one bite. A friend has a C14 that's been on there for a while too.

Not to be the bearer of bad news but it is a shame.

Might also post on ADVRider, might can get an out-of-towner like you would on CT?

I'll have to try. Looks like my Aprilia RSVR is about to sell and I need to move the FJR in order to backfill her with an RSV4. About to be in bike limbo land!
