Does anyone know of anywhere in the southeast that has any 08 or 09 AEs left for a GREAT deal? By great I mean $10,000-$11,000 like they were at a few dealerships recently with full warranty. I'd also be interested in a 2010 Concours 14 ABS for a great deal. The wifey has finally given me the go ahead to start browsing for purchase soon if I find a deal. :yahoo:

A fellow forum member (olsonm3915) turned me on to Larson's cycle Cambridge MN back in January. I bought an 08 AE model for $9999.00 and they said they had two left. Checking their web site now lists 08 AE's for $10699. Guess they are slowly going up in anticipation of spring. They seemed real pleasant to deal with and were only a couple hour road trip from my place. Felt like an ***** though loading up a bike January 2nd on a morning that had to be near twenty below.

Edit

Sorry just reread your post and found you were in the South East.

Give our preferred dealer a call as it's been reported they are the best to work with...cheapest YES warranty around as well...I definitely would purchase the warranty with an AE...you can purchase your bike anywhere and then purchase the YES from here except if you buy the bike in Florida

Y.E.S. Factory Warranty (Yamaha Extended Service Plan)

$389 from D&H Cycle, 18115 US Hwy 31, Cullman, AL 35058, 256-739-1840, 888-553-3311

from the bin o facts: https://www.fjrforum.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8660

before taking delivery of your bike, check the checklist before buying in the bin o facts

best of luck with the search (hunt and conquer?)

Is D&H the actual dealership name?

Crap, had a deal and everything worked out but it has no warranty. :angry2:

I know you've seen the 2009 AE in the for sale section since you posted a reply there, and that it's across the country from you. But it is what you're looking for for a great price and including the YES warranty. I bought a 2006 AE before Christmas, and it cost me only $560 to get it shipped from Texas to Oregon with a shipper that does only Motorcycles. Just sayin!!!

This seems like a great deal.......too bad I don't want an AE
It's a great deal! Thinking you should reconsider the AE though. Like a fellow forum member once stated the only guys to bash the AE, have never owned an AE.
I have thought about the AE, but read reviews about some difficulty is making slow speed maneuvers because of the lack of clutch. I am already worried about dropping a bike at slows speeds as it is after reading all the post of people dropping their bikes.

The one in Kentucky was a GREAT deal. I called him and he had sold it earlier THAT day. Just my luck. The guy was unbelievably cool and has helped me out with alot of info on deals. None have panned out as of yet but I appreciate the help. Really sucks too because his parents live in GA and he could have actually brought it to me. Guess I must have made the biking gods mad at some point. They haven't been on my side lately.
