Hey, FJR's tear up the twisties pretty darn good... at least mine did at WFO-6 in your area.

Are you headin' to WFO-8 or CFR? I'll be hittin' both. Hope to see ya there.

Project completed. Time for riding.... nice weather only!

Great bike. I just picked up a leftover Sapphire blue '08 that will arrive next week. I was reading some of your earlier posts when you bought the bike and you said that you wanted to keep it mostly stock. I guess the farkle bug got a hold of you after all (grin).

Now that you have both, which do you enjoy riding more - FJR or the 14?

Congratulations on your purchase. Make sure you set up the suspension. It makes a whale of a difference.

You're absolutely correct. I did plan to keep the ZX-14 pretty much stock. However, I really didn't realize just how fun these hyperbikes are. The pure thrill of the acceleration (et al) is ....... well, just is. :yahoo:

I really got the farkle/bling bug when I logged onto blingrockets.com and the old zx14ninja.com forums. :dribble: I also get a couple of magazines dedicated to bling. So I came up with a build plan to convert the ZX-14 into a functional show bike. The build plan had to be such that it was a complete custom build, not a buy-a-part-stick-the-part-on thing. Even though the bike is nicely blinged, it can still rock'n'roll with the liter bikes.... straights, twisties... it doesn't matter.

My feejer is functionally farkled so I can enjoy a long ride or a regional ride. It has enough storage space for a multi-day trip, camping, etc. The feejer is also much nicer to drive now since I had a complete tuneup, oil change and set up the suspension.

Favorite? Not sure.... yet.
