+1 on riding the bike for several hundred miles before making major changes. Its a great bike off the showroom floor IMHO. Before spending a ton on an expensive throttle lock look at the Vista Cruise and a Cramp Buster (Less than $40.00 bucks). They both were cheap and helped alot. Disconnecting the windshield return helps alot on long trips (FREE :yahoo: ). It drove me crazy having to constantly readjust the windscreen every time I turned the bike off. I have a PCA Rack with a Givi E52 on the back. I love the E52 for around the town and it fits two helmets. I do get concerned that I might over load it and break the back half of the rear subframe. There are several posts about this issue on this fourm. I have thought about adding a Grand Touring Bag from Magsbags for camping trips and heavy loads. https://www.magsbags.com/grandtouringbag.html They look like a good solution to keep from overloading the back of the bike. Enjoy the bike and ride it often.
