The “ motel “ if it still stands has 5 rooms. There were 34 rv sites and 8 small cabins. How much of that is untouched , I don’t know ? The pic TominPA has posted shows where the store , cafe, outdoor bar, patio deck, restroom, showers, laundromat, and the living quarters that the family used above the store, appear to be all all gone, burnt to the ground.| The “motel” was behind the store and I see nothing back there, although it may be just out of the edge of the photo. The current Calfire report stated the “main store and lodge “ is gone. Containment has gone up to 20% which a better sign, now that they’re getting more personnel on site.

Any way you look at it it's not good. And new owners. Incredibly bad luck.

Everyday we watch at TV news scenes from the huge fires in CA.So sad to see all these nice forests and houses to have been destroyed..And many people already died there..So sorry,wish and hope to ended soon all this tragedy..

YEAH I saw that too, and another on the McLoud arm of Shasta Lake.

Mihalis, I’ve been to Greece a few times and love the hospitality and friendliness of the Greek people, made my heart ache when I read those reports on the fire, wishing you all the best in tough times.
