Oh Hell Yes ! Don't know if I got the origami folds in me either but I'd sure like to find out.

Could proclaim it art to the wife and put it on display in the bedroom if I don't. :p

I guess Ducati may up the ante:from motorcycle daily--"

By Dirck Edge

If the Ducati 1098 is selling like hot cakes, and it is, would potential buyers be turned off by news that Ducati might build an even bigger v-twin next year?

It is no secret that Ducati wants WSB rules changed to allow twins displacing 1200cc, and that it is insisting on this rule change for next year. Of course, Ducati must build and sell a street-legal 1200 to compete in superbike racing with a 1200. This means the 1098 might be the flagship v-twin at Ducati for exactly one year. Stay tuned."

What, no rear footpegs?
:)
The bike comes with rear pegs - but not installed, you can add them. BUT WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD DO SUCH A THING - A PASSENGER - NO WAY!

By the way ---- I pick up mine on Saturday! :yahoo:
You'll have to post up after ya get it with your impressions of that ride.

Took my friend to get his 1098 Tricolore today. Very nice.

Re: the rear footpegs? They can be taken off. Only comes with a 15.5 litre tank...so no long term touring for him.

Only 3 arrived in Perth...2 of them I saw this morning. Photos do NOT do the Tricolore justice. It is simply beautiful.

We almost didn't get him to the dealership. I don't have a top box, and it was his first time on the FJR (as a pillion no-less)...I decided to show him what she could do. The shifting in weight behind me, soon told me he wa struggling to hang on. He said that he could not believe the acceleration. aw shucks.
