10k And Thrilled

OK so 2005 FJR #3300 reached 10,000 miles yesterday. I could not be more pleased with this motorcycle. Considering I'm a self-employed workaholic, have an FZ1 also, and picked it up Oct 1, 2004 I am shocked 10K got here so soon.

It just grabs me and takes me away, always for hundreds of miles only to bring me home safe with a big shit-eatin' grin on my face.

Thanks to all of you vets who touted with vigor the attributes of this machine.

Question.....on the odo there is now a "0" then a space before the 10,090 reading.

What is that ?

12.5k on my '05 that I picked up last Oct. 22nd and DITTO to everything you said.

This is the perfect bike - for me.

#1699 clicked her 10k mark this weekend as well. A new water pump and a new shaft seal were her only weaknesses during the period - both waranteed. I've already got more miles on the Metz Z6's than I had on the stocker BT020s before they were toast and the Z6s are still going strong.

The space will go away when you hit 20k.
