Crazy for going with a wide tire?

Putting a square tire on the back is way crazier, and even I tried that once.

Nah, you're just plumb crazy in a general sense. :p

Well "plumb" is level in a vertical sense so I'll go with it! :yahoo:

I know this isn't the direction that you wee headed in, but Chaparral also has the BT023-GT's at great prices. They aren't available in the 190 wide rear, but my experience with them so far is that they stick much better than the PR2s do. Unless something really bad happens with these tires later in their life, I won't be going back to the Michelins.

BT023-GTs

120/70 ZR-17 $101.88

180/55 ZR-17 $131.88

Recycling Fee $3.50

newsletter discount $10

Total shipped $227.26

See there ya go throwing a monkey wrench again Fred! ...It's good tho but I thought I would of had a "why not PR3?"

Sticking is a big concern at least riding with you guys, as where I reside here in the Finger Lakes area it's not as much a concern (flat, boring but very scenic if that counts ;)

Longevity less replacements = less changing and more $ for cocktails

Quietness not mentioned much here on this BB but it makes a difference if the tire is quiet/smooth
