Had one years ago and like it. Had a chance to pick up another one so Panman I wondered back to Montana and pickup the Harley and my 66 Norton Atlas 650.

And my friend JimmyJimmy now owns the Norton. Jim has been looking for one for awhile and it was a easy sell to his wife because her maiden name was Norton.

Jimmy and I both checked the bus over a couple of years ago, it has sat in that spot for as many years or more than the bikes. I tried popping the hood to see if it was a Y Block thinking it was a 54 thru 56 range but didn't really have time to mess with it..

There was a coal stove I hated leaving there also.

Those XR models were pretty impressive motor wise. Unfortunately the frame and brakes lagged a little behind. I remember the first Buell, the RR1000 Battletwin using that powerplant.
