2003 Fork Legs

Does anyone know the color code for the fork legs on the 2003 FJR?

If you're going to completely refinish them you can chose any good automotive paint you want. If you're touching up, try one of the Dupli-Colors.

When you do it, use a sharp toothpick and only the tinniest amounts of paint per coat and "color in" inside the chip. Don't go over the edge. Let the paint settle as it dries and do it again until it's built up.

As far as the exact match, I'd say locate you local automotive paint supplier and visit them. They'll go out with a chart and get as close as you'ld ever want.

I don't remeber my fork legs being painted on my 03. I thought they were aluminum.

My '03 haz plain ol' luminuminuminuminum forks. If they're painted, some previous owner did it. Probably.

Aluminum color but thay are painted.

That's definitely paint. They put a real good, lasting finish on them, Too.

I don't rec. repainting them. If they get a few nicks, that's OK. Touch 'em up if you want but they won't rust.
