2004 gas leak at pump

Newby here,

Have an 04 that has sat for a year. had 1/4 tank of gas. it leaked half of that out one night - pumped out the rest- from the bottom of the fuel pump.

 2 hose connections on the pump. one is molded to pump, 1 is a 2 piece 90. Connection just flops around. leaking there.

question is; new pump or is there another fix. cannot find a rebuild kit kit. available?

assuming there is an O ring or seal that is out. $500.00 for the pump.. ouch

I would try some type of fuel resistant sealant like JB Weld

I would get a used replacement off ebay before I would ever spend $500 for a new one.

And it is $387 on Partshark.
