Yamaha FJR1300 Eastern Owners Meeting, all went well, Well pretty much.

I heard there were a couple of FJRs that went down during the hundreds of tricky miles in the TN and NC mountains covered during this event, weather and road conditions could have been a factor in these get offs, but only minor injuries were reported and everyone was able to get up and get going again as far as I know. More damaged egos than anything I hope.

Several riders I talked to said the riding groups should have been smaller considering the riding conditions. I failed to make any of the rides but didn't miss Lunch Friday with the group in Bristol, VA and Dinner and Door prizes Saturday evening at the Highland Inn in Boone, NC. Everybody had a big time and there were even a few guys on other brands of bikes. Anyone rider with an ID and sense of humor was welcome to participate in the door prize givaway. I thought I won the "Chain Lube". :lol:

I'm looking forward to next year and the possibility of being one of the new 07 FJR1300 owners.

I too didn't take that many, I busted the LCD on the back of my camera some how so I couldn't tell if I the camera still worked or not. :angry:

Mike bought me a new camera a while back, it sure beats the camera pics from EOM '04 (especially the crash ones).

Rad was there for wingman support. He has an amazing abilities with the ladies. It was sort of like musical chairs in reverse.
