I am getting ready to sell my cobalt blue 2006 FJR complete with over $2,000 in farkles - the accessories will not be sold separately. Low miles at 14,842 with new tires. Some of the included farkles include the following:

I have seen pricing all over the map so thought I would ask here at the forum - I can send photos and will try to post here later.

Zumo 550 Givi E52 with brake light Givi E250 mounting plate Top Box Rear rack Honda heated grips 08T50-MCS-100 Carbon fiber heated seat Blue Sea 5025 6 position fuse box Skyway Sliders G2 throttle tube Tube/400Y NEP CC-3 Throttle lock (modified) California Scientific (CalSci) Large windshield 90 degree valve stems (tires) Guardian helmet locks (re-keyed) with mount Reflective Bag Labels Starcom1 Digital communications system Bar End Weights Grip Puppies New Michelin Pilot 2 Tires (less then 2 miles)

Certain farkles convey with the bike, others are easily detachable and can be sold separately. From the list I would put the Zumo in the sell it by itself category. The rest are too much trouble to remove. With that being said the formula I use is model year x 1000 + 50% of farkle value. In your case in the $7000 neighborhood. Since the bike has new shoes and has some desirable upgrades that are particularly interesting. Many of those upgrades are what the IBR riders install you might be able to get higher price.

Certain farkles appear to be timeless and can fetch very close to their purchase price. These include smuggler trunks and Zumo's. I know this sounds like I am angling to get you to sell your Zumo separately. I am not I already have one. Pull that baby off and get some quick cash.

Not sure if that helps but that is how I went about procuring my 06 and it has a whopping 4800 miles on it now. I got it with just over a thousand miles on it.

Thanks for the suggestion - I was thinking ~ $7,500 with the Zumo - it will be interesting to see if others think that also sounds about right.

7,500 is a good place to start but be willing to negotiate.

An unmolested, low mileage bike is usually more desirable,

reconsider selling the add-ons separately.

You can try Kelly blue book for motorcycles to start. Craigslist & Ebay to get an Idea for a ballpark.

Good Luck,

Dave
