Nope - that's Scott Pittmans' dealership; I used to work with him back in the day when he got started. Good guy; haven't met the listed salesman, but Scott and his General Manager Dusty are good people. It'll be as represented.
OK, I'm always skeptical, but never unreasonable. Just ask my wife. I can always be convinced to change my opinion, with irrefutable facts or unassailable logic. So it's a reputable dealership. That's a good plus. And the bike
looks pristine. That's another. I damn near phoned just now, but only to satisfy my curiosity; I'd only frustrate myself since I'm not in the market. But I'd love to know why it's so low? The price is below market, which is hard to understand from a dealer. I'd like to know if they have the bike's full history.
But yeah, I could be convinced. So who's going to go look at it (if it's still on the market) and report back? (*hint*) Just pretty amazing to see such a clean-looking, at least partially farkled (V-Stream windscreen too), low-mileage FJR at this price anywhere, let alone a dealer. I'd love to see somebody on the forum jump on this, if it's what it seems to be.
Edit: Ah what the hell. I called up the salesman. It's a car dealership and they took the bike in trade and just want to get it off the lot with minimum hassles, he tells me. Also that somebody--forum guy?--in Minnesota is interested and is having a local guy (you, William?) come look at it and let him know. So it's still for sale, with a possible sale kind of pending. Says one of the forks is leaking a little, that's the only thing he knows wrong with it. One-owner bike, too, btw.
