Guys

Can't wait till I get the '07 and getting a good offer on a '06 1300A, besides I prefer the blue color any way  , wonder if anyone spotted any differences other than colors bet. the '06 and '07 ? Thanks :D

With the 07 you get a coupon for 30% off any Makita or Milwaukee Grinder to fix the side stand. :)

I bet a few things will be different:

The recalls will already be fixed

and I bet they have a TPS fix (not that the 06 needs one???)

Great answers so far, awesome site for info, Thanks Again ! :clapping:
Now that's funny!

Slamming those for posting sarcastic non-contributory posts and yet doing exactly the same thing yourself.

"Where's the beef?"

:clapping:

So with your 40+ years of riding experience is that the best you could do?

:glare:

fjr007 - FJR history has shown that for the most part, the FJR is on a 2 year development cycle. So besides color, I would be very surprised if there are any even mildly significant changes to the 07.

Sure got you to bite didn't it ? If it smells like fish.... I see you made a big contribution too....

Doesn't have much to do with riding though....

Since there is no place to postrides on this site, How 'bout you come out to Idaho Rd & 60 Hwy to the Chevron station about 7:30 Saturday morning and do some riding ? The short ride is about 300+ miles (SRC) and I'll be doing a bit more if you can do it, c'mon out...

:nono:

We do have a place to post local rides. We have cleverly hidden it on you however by naming it, "Regional Ride Planning & Information Exchange".

I would recommend going to the southwest section of that forum HERE and posting the ride info, as well as a link to the appropriate FTRG thread.

Gee, 300 miles? That sounds like a lot.

Don't know if you are trying to purposefully f*** with me or just not keeping up with current events (check out my Avatar?), but I won't be doing ANY riding for a while, unfortunately.

When healthy, you can be sure I will be joing the FTRG on local rides, as well as organizing a few of my own. Hell, I was doing rides with the FTRG when you only had 38+ years of riding experience.

Meant to be a friendly invite, I see your avatar but wasn't aware of problems.....bummer. Some are just doing SRC to Show Low and back but I plan on at least taking 260 to Camp Verde and if the other guys can hang, we'll do Mingus & maybe White Spars...It's actually a lot of sport bikes and me probably.

Hard to keep up with Scooter unless your willing to do 24 hours at a time.Plus there is a place for ride reports, plug regional rides and IBA thread.

Did an In State IBA Oct 1st, not a problem for me...13 mandatory stops to prove backroads...18 hrs 46 min. , 1074 miles, but wasn't out to set any records...I may be able to keep up :p

So are you saying that we could expect to find some new changes in '08 ?

I was seriously thinkin of '08 for my upgrade date, unless they decide to add another 200 lbs

At least I know that they will have a suspension upgrade by then... I love my Wilburs... best change I ever made...

And I hope it doesn't come out in yellow or something goofy like that.. ;)
