You forgot all the things that involve actual riding; fuel, oil, filters, tires, etc. I spend more on these consumables each year than farkles.

Lets see...

Traxxion installed $1200.00 (WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Penske Rear $780.00

Russell Day Long $450

Thats just 3 things in a LONG list.............

I made the mistake of having my wife look over my shoulder as I scrolled through Quicken looking for tax deductions. :dribble:

Every once in a while I'd hear, "what is a G2?" and when she saw the ACTUAL amount (as opposed to a "guestimate") I spent on the suspension group buy......oh! my.....

I bought her two dozen roses I was going to spend on some draggin' jeans. Things are better.

The worst is when I start wondering how long I can go from repairing some dry rot on the trim of the house, so I can buy a farkle............ I am sick.

With your permission to re-print this list, I would like to present it to my wife to prove that I am "Not the Only One".
My first two weeks looks much better for my 2007 (standard shift)

$10,000 OTD

$85 tag and registration (for 8 mos)

$21 decal kit

$100 madco throttle lock

$95 G2

I already had the butt pad and riding gear.

Now I can justify that windscreen I have been considering. Thanks for the help.
That is a fantastic price for the 2007 standard! And I thought my price was good for the AE.

I also already had the riding gear but new bike means new helmet and new jacket! Besides, I told my wife that helmets should be replaced every 5 years for safety and mine was 13 years old. My old jacket was even older and only cost $40 so I told her the new one was for safety.

... she put her foot down ...

Dude you got more guts than me to post this up. All I'll say is what some others mentioned, don't keep track or it will take all the fun out and the wife part, what were you thinking?........  Here's a new one, fuzzy balls in a jar..

Just walk her into the closet and start counting shoes, she won't even let you finish.

Now that you have the bike, if she notices anything different. "Naw, that's been there since I bought it" Use their tactics back at em.

You definitely have the disease, nice first month... You might consider sumptin for the little woman thou, ya know keep peace in the family.

ummm...I would think this is what these are for.....

$475.96 Yamaha trunk$98.59 Yamaha trunk attachment kit

$38.00 Trunk installation
If the trunk has the back rest that is.....

Ray

I gotta say.... I keep on farkling.............. She keeps on asking me when are we gonna ride..............

I think I married the right girl.............. I teller, "Honey, I wanna take a three week trip to the east coast"

She sez

"How about a Nascar race in Florida, take the bike...................."

I say

"Ok"

Then I tell her "Good Wifey!!"

Those that have met Kenra understand...............

Farkles,,, What is that?? I thot is was the bike fairy stealing money from my wallet.... Hmmmmmmmm

try totaling up her **** in the closet(s). She prolly has you beat on shoes alone.

I wouldn't go there....

HA one word

SINGLE

And people want to know why I stay single.

Just gotta worry about the other mistresses in the garage getting jealous of the feejer.

I have put $1775 into the bike in since December. That's on top of about $1600 worth of other stuff for it over the past 2 years. And I know I don't have near the stuff on it that some do.

I'm beginning to think that if someone had told me how much I would end up spending on farkles back in 05 when I ordered this thing, I just might have gotten something else.

yeah right! :D best money i ever spent!!

Ask anyone who has a boat or plane as both are similar...

Never, ever, ever under any circumstances try to rationalize this financially. And never add the stuff up. Ever.

It just won't do you any good.
