W/O getting down to the nitty, I've got ~$1250.00 worthy of goodies sittin' here in a box ready to go on and another ~$1835.00 on order that I'm waiting for, and I AIN'T EVEN GOT MY BIKE YET!! ...& I know better'n to think I'm even close to 'done' [whatever the hell that is], ...but having over the years made silk purses of several [basket case] sows ears, I'm not in a state of shock over it. Also, since there's no S.O. I don't have to justify it to anyone but my own sefff!

I need to set some higher goals....

Hey, just tell the wife she's better be glad you didn't buy a Harley...

$175 for a chrome shift rod

$265 for two chrome covers for the rear hubs

$300 for the front fork stabilizer (hey, at least that one's useful!)

$700 for the Mustang seat, pillon pad and Harley luggage rack, backrest and pad (ok, maybe it was more...)

Only $450 for the saddlebags...got them at Leatherneck Jim's.com <BG>

And $400 for an LED taillight.... not H-D, tho....

$600 for exhaust system ( but it's one of the nicest Harley you'll ever hear! <G>

$200 for a round piece of chrome to cover the K&N....

and the list goes on!

And NON of that is safety equipment...

and we won't count the 7 pairs of boots, 8 jackets, 4 helmets or God knows how many t-shirts!

Oh, and I still have a hugger for the 05 FJR I sold... the fiberglass one...IF I can get back to Ohio to get it before my buddies friggin wife throws it away...

See.... even without an FJR, they cost me money!! <ROFFL>

I never did add up what I spent on the FJR in one year... I was afraid to! :(

Didn't spend as much of the Triumph...just under $1000...but ...that needs farkled too! <G>

Suspension group buy for over a grand

Oh Yeah, the list goes on!

$16,028, eh? Perhaps a way to smooth the waters is to take your wife into a BMW dealer and take a look at the price of a K1200LT ($21,520), and that's before the farkles! :D

Johnduab, Sounds like you need some help with Financial Planning.

Contact Warchild, Murph's or Bike Effects as they all can "Help" you with Your Finances.

I have farkeld several boats then sold them @ a huge loss. Bikes by comparison seem almost free.
