Went to the West coast release at Alice's restaraunt and took pices just like last year !! :D Unfortunately the weather did not co-oporate and the coastal fog hung around all day and the sun never showed up. Bummer as the color on the new bike needs the sunshine as you can tell from the pics.
Great pics. Fantastic. Thanks for taking the trouble to make the pictures available. I haven't been able to find good pics of the launch anywhere else on the net.

All the Japanese upper management were there this year , heads of depts etc. Friendly folks, proud of the lineup. A couple of us were wearing our WFO rally shirts and they insisted they had to take a pic with us !!Imagine that !
That is truly remarkable. I'd really love to have seen and heard that for myself. Dale and all the others that have put so much into WFO and this forum have demonstrably increased the weight of every forum member's opinion in the eyes of Yamaha. That is a rare, rare thing.

Thanks WFO staff. Thanks forum staff.

I don't know. Big yawn for me.

It's kind of hard to get excited knowing that GTR is lurking around the corner. Not saying I am a fair weather fan and am turning favor with a competitor, but doesn't YAMA think it's time after 7 years to put the wrench to the powertrain and get us really fired up??

Nice, nice nice :D Love the color.

There was quite a showing from the FJR crowd and a lot of people lookng and talking about the FJRs. It seems the Yami Bigwigs took notice. They have to like the demographic. 40s and 50s guys with a little spare change seem to be attracted to these things in a big way.
That was a fun event. Was good to see you guys again
One could only hope this would go a long ways towards better service relationships with their customers that own own one already. The competition is ramping up,and still some owners have a hard time dealing with tickers. Yamaha putting out the word to treat us like said demographic would go a long ways towards healing, and increase the likelyhood of more of us considering the new Feejers to replace our aging ones. We ain't R6 owning squids, Yami, you listening?????

The red with stripes is nice. Wish we could get it here in the States (along with these European accessories...)

I'll take the two accessories to Go -where is the new bike??? the red is very nice but it is time to change it up and go after the competition - concours14!! I really want to see the side by side compos

I really like the new FJR color. It seems they are appealing to an "older" purchase group.

That said, what exactly, besides the color, are the differences between the '06 & the '07?

Anybody know?

My best guess is there are no differences. Color only.

Anyone know if a silver sticker kit can be purchased thru our Euro/Down Under friends to put on our U.S. bikes?
