If that is accurate (exhaust change voids warranty), then that's about as ****** up as a soup sandwich. <_<

Suppose you have an instrument panel that goes bad on you... is Kawasaki going to deny the warranty claim on an electronic part because an *exhaust* component was changed?

In any event, I don't think this is a problem that merits any concern.... the GTR1400 has just the one (albeit huge) bolt on canister; should you ever need to make a warranty claim, just remove your slip-on and bolt up the stock bazooka before bringing your bike in for warranty work.....

I thought the same thing. If its just a can, thats easy enough. In this guys case, it would take a Saturday morning to put the bike back to stock. Then when the work is done he'd need another half a day to put all the goodies back on. Personally, that would piss me off to have to go through. I'm sure I would do it though if it meant having to pay out the ass for something that was screwed up and shouldn't be.

Since I never looked at the owners manual myself and now everyone is scratching their heads, I'll see if I can get a copy made and post it for you guys to read yourselves.
