2008 Cape Fear Rally

I slipped in to the Cape Fear Rally just by a hair (a small one at that). Registration opened the day before yesterday and in less than 48 hours all 115 spots were taken. I've heard this is a great rally run by the same folks that put on the VOID 3 Rally last fall, which was my first. I learned a lot about details and what the term "Rally Bastard" really means. For those of you that got in chime in and say were you're starting from. "Borrec" and I are starting from Venice, FL. It's still 3 months away and I can't stop thinking about it.

I got in too. It will be my first Cape Fear. It's supposed to be a great rally.

It's not the same RB team as the Void, but there's overlap. This one is run by Jim Bain who helped out on the Void's staff. I think one of the Void's RB's, Scott, is helping out on Jim's staff. Gary, on the other hand, is signed up as one of the riders out of Rome.
