2008 Cognoscente Group Endurance Event

Well..... I wasn't going to publish this until tomorrow, so that previous Cognoscente veterans could have a shot at signing up before all 45 seats are taken.

So around 3pm PST this afternoon (Jan 8), I sent out about 120 private invitations to the 2008 Cognoscente Group Endurance Rally.

We are already half full. In just 6 hours time. :blink:

If I wait till tomorrow, there will likely be very few slots remaining available on the Start Line.

So... if you are interested in riding /rubbing elbows with some of the most hard-core Endurance Riders on the planet, this is your chance. The last time we opened one of our events up to the general public was 7 years ago!

Best take advantage of it... it might be another 7 years before it happens again. We usually run By-Invitation-Only events, extending offers to people we know can Handle the Load and trust to keep quiet about it.

I am posting the sign-up link to LDRiders and Iron Butt veterans list tomorrow. Assuredly, the remaining openings will be snapped up right away.

I can attest that if WC has given this forum an opportunity like this...he's wanting to give a worthy FJR rider of this forum a serious dream shot. The last Cognoscente event had 7 folks surpass the magical '2K in a Day' mark....and four of them were FJRs from this very forum.

You have LD aspirations and a chance at a huge opportunity? Jump quick!

You guys are AMAZING! I just can't imagine being able to do that. I do 48 our ham radio contests but if I get tired enough to fall out of the chair I don't get hurt. :blink: I'm looking forward to enjoying hearing about it all.

We all need challenges and best wishes everybody who is taking this challenge on.
