Let's see... We eat red meat, routinely talk about guns, ride motorcycles, and dream of spending our tax rebate checks on farkles to stimulate the economy. My God! We must all be Republicans! ;)
That's IT! Go sit on the Group W bench with the rest of the Father rapers and Mother killers.

Wow-Wow

As of June 18

Current Count of participants including possibles:

29

This is not counting drive-bys or those individuals that may show up for the Lunch Call. Clearly this is going to be "The Event" to be at in 2008. Small enough that you are not lost amoung the masses and located in an area with some spectacular rides and scenery. After meeting and riding with a number of the participants, I can tell you that you won't want to miss this one.

The food post has changed. I made a list of items needed for the BBQ. If each of us brings something, we will be able to fit it in our saddle bags. If not, you can shop in Packwood. Pick an item and post that you will bring it. I will note on above list. Please don't reply to the list but to this thread. One item per person please. If there is two of you, bring two six packs. Hehe.

I don't have anything to do but plan right now. Here is an alternate ride to the Killer Ride. May come in handy if the snow is still on FR25 or FR99, or if some just want a more relaxed day of sight seeing.

Suggestion Ride #2: (Click for Map) Leave Packwood at 8:00 am to Paradise, Mt. Rainier National Park, to Morton for lunch to Johnstson Ridge, back to Packwood. (280m).

I guess you have a menu now. ;) This started a bit more free form, but as the size goes up, the details need to be managed more. I'll bring 1 six pack of beer and the onions. (Might have to displace some of the SO's shoes...)

Seems odd to bring so little.

Let her bring more shoes...Blantons Market is right next door to the Packwood Inn, you can get your beer & onions there! :yahoo:

Thankfully she's not on the forum. No encouragement from the peanut gallery on the shoes!

As to Blantons, good beer? ;) And I was actually planning on just getting things there. I imagine most of the two up couples will be doing that.

I would have brought all but it seams more like a community with the peanut gallery and the pervs, don't you think? ;)

Bring more if you want. Won't hurt my feelings. I could use a Lasanga side dish. :D

Community? Here!? :yahoo:

It will depend on how creative I'm feeling and what's available at the local store. Have skewers, will travel.

I will do my part to ensure there isn't any left over beer though. :drinks:

I'll bring

Chinet paper plates (48 pack)

Plastic forks and knifes (48 pack). What, no spoons?!

And pick up some Fosters when I get there.

DanD

I hope I can buy whatever you all need in Packwood. There's not a whole lot storage on a ZX14.

2 pairs undies in one pocket (One of mine, one of my wife's).

Toothbrush in the other pocket.

****o DVD stuck under the seat.

Yep, that about wraps it up.

Not sure about "good beer",but it's a full fledged grocery story. I'd imagine they'll have a fair selection, alot of Tacoma/Seattle folks have ski cabins in Packwood. There's always The Blue Spruce Tavern, they might have a good selection.

I don't think I want to know what "Lasanga" is...............
