It's a keeper alright! Whoever has one can keep it! :)

I respect it's abilities, it just isn't my type of bike.

Mmmmm :dribble:

I've always been a fan of the Busa, and this one really makes me consider it as my next bike. Maybe that GS will have to wait a little longer before entering my stable.... Something about an LD prepped Busa sounds good to me. B)

People that think their ugly are just pissed that they get passed by them.

Yeah, but then you have to turn eventually...enter FJR.

I have always thought they are one fast, butt ugly bike. This one doesn't change my mind. Now the V-Strom....

Did not take you long to find that link huh? :)
I'm an admin on a busa forum so any questions please ask away. I have had mine apart and back together many times. There ain't nothing like it. To those who think it is ugly will only see tail lights anyway. :)

Forgot to add that I have a lead for a great price on the 07 or 08 model. Will ship too.

PM if interested.

It wouldn't matter if I drove an F-22 Raptor, the 'busa is still a turd in the eyecandy department.

Why do most microcephalics think that seeing the taillights is a yardstick of quality, good looks or performance?

I KNOW my FJR will do an honest 155 all day long, yet I get passed regularly by Hyundai Sonatas, F-150 pickups and roided-out old bastards on Burgmans.

I don't have to measure the size of my dick by the speed of my motorcycle like some pinheads do.

BTW, I see the smiley, so I know you're making the "see tail lights" crack with your tongue planted firmly in your cheek, so don't take offense, but there are other posts in this same thread whose authors seem to think the 'busa's prodigious speed capabilities make up for its ugly face.

I though the Kawasaki ZX-14 was the fastest production bike  ?....Did I miss something  ?....

Just what the 'busa needed,, to be bigger and heavier......with no face lift.........

Yawn.

Suzuki is just trying to keep up with the Jones's (or is it Cows's ?)

I think they would have been better served to hold current power and even sacrafice a little displacement while at Jenny Craig, then sharpen a few edges.

It looks like they are 100% commited to the stop light and 1/4 ml track crowd.

I like it. . .all except the (removable) tail cowling. Definitely an improvement over the previous generation 'busa. It looks more muscular in an organic fashion.

Nice to see that Howie is mellowing with age. There was a time when he would have....oh. :p As far as the Boos, try to imagine it Pink Pearl, a longer wheelbase than my ol' Coupe DeVille, and enough chains and lights to make the Transgendered "Lectra Glyde Club swoon. Now, thats bikin'!

As the saying goes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but I think that most would agree that the bike is one mean looking mutha that can back up its looks while in a straight line. If they could just design it where a person can travel over 25 miles on one without being crippled for at least a week. Rode one for an hour before buying my FJR, but maybe I'm past the age where pain is fun!

The funny thing is, I think Ducati's are boring looking. Very plain, nothing really to them.

I really like the look of the Busa, and I like the subtle changes they've made to it. Its a bike I loved before I heard it was the king of speed. One day I'll have one in my garage.

Stickier tires and over 100lbs lighter then an FJR? How does your FJR defy physics?

Personally I like it...have ALWAYS been a fan of the Busa. I like the "tweeks". Almost pulled the trigger before the FJR but common sense prevailed.

I wonder why Suzuki hasn't used the Hayabusa as a sport touring platform with civil ergo's and hard bags?

Having tried the first gen Hiyafughleee I must admit I was pleasantly suprised at how good it handled and the rather plush ride. Stock bars were way to bent over for me tho. However, the idea of 160 sum less pounds and 50 sum more HP than my FJR, hmmmmm? In the blue it looks almost ok. As an Industrial Designer I find the front a visual improvement, but(t) the rear??? Yikes! Maybe it "reads" better in 3D...one could hope. LOL! DFO

Gixxer "on the fly" selectable fuel maps, mad power and rideable........ sounds mightly cool.

Impossible to reach panel fasteners and no smaller panel access ..... not so cool.

Building on a proven world beating platform...... cool.

Bulbous fat ass .... not so cool. (unless that is available cargo storage)

Orange/black .... cool.

Huge, huge aftermarket..... way cool.

If someone in the aftermarket fits a GSXR1000 rear fender on it........... :detective2: :beach: :friends:
