2008 model - What's it worth & should I be worried about it's limited use?

The funny thing that will happen here is that the seller will believe the low mileage warrants a higher price, but in reality, the same bike with 25,000 miles that's had a valve clearance check and some fresh skins put on will ultimately serve you better.

Sorry that happened to you. The seller should have gave you first shot since you had already told him you where going to go look at it on Saturday. You probably shouldn't have said anything about the 2014 either. It shouldn't take somebody more than a few minutes to find those too.

For example, wen I sold my truck, one guy was really interested, but had to drive home to ask his wife. 5 minutes after he left, another guy called. He showed up with a pocket full of cash. While I was filling out the bill of sale, the first guy called me. He had permission, but it was too late. There are no guarantees, so take the opportunity before it leaves.

It took 4 days because the Seller wasn't very thorough or responsive in answering my questions. The only way he wanted to communicate was thru email.

I initially asked him if the bike was still available (since the ad was over a month old) and it took him 24 hours to respond.

When I got his response, I asked immediately replied, asking him numerous questions about the bike. This time it took him 26 hours to reply and he didn't answer 1/2 of my questions.

I asked when it would be convenient to come look at the bike and told him if it was everything he said it was, I'd take it. It took him 23 hours to reply.

Kind of hard for me to s**t or get off the pot if I can't find the pot.

This deal is gone, water under the bridge, and I'm not looking back.
