Hmmm, kinda funny you guys all picked the grandstand sections. My first pick was the Corner 7 Terrace. I figure I'll have easier access to pits and easier access to move around to different corners during race/practice. The Grandstand seating is better for the 500, but I think the infield stuff was better for F1 and will be for MotoGP as well. The lone exception will be the grandstand seats near Start/Finish, as you'll get to see all the pre-race hoopla from there, which is kinda fun.

Don't worry, IMS will have no trouble handling the Moto GP crowd. This will be a small event for them, unless all the foreigners show up.

Looking forward to it!! Corner 7 Terrace, Sec 2, Row DD

I was originally looking at Stand 7, but, decided to go with the stands that overlook the last sections of track before entering the front straight.

Stand J. Section 16. Row BB.

Are you going to the mile on Saturday night?

Corner 7 Terrace, Sec 17, Row EE. Four seats, which as of right now I have all to myself, due to previously committed folks now backing out. Sigh. I may be trying to unload some or all of these.....

I'm going to be roaming the infield. Will be going to the Fair Grounds Saturday night for the flat trackers.

Anyone still need to get tickets for the whole shebang weekend? A buddy of mine, middle aged guy over at GIXXER.com forum, got a block of 100 seats for the whole thing (I think). I might just do it since I only live about 70 miles away and can go back and forth. Anyway, if anyone is interested, PM me and I can forward you to Jeff and he can probably hook you up.

I think he needs the money by 7/14 to sew things up.

I have been arranging a group of about 100 of us from www.gixxer.com through the Speedway’s Group Sales and I have a few tickets left. They are good for all 3 days, reserved seating in Turn 7 Terrace, free bike parking inside the Speedway, a courtesy tent to check-in gear (helmet, jacket, etc.). We can also go over on the Monday after the race and do a lap on the MotoGP circuit. Thursday before the race we can go into the pits between 2 and 5 p.m. $100 each. Let me know if you are interested.
