2008 Seats on Craigslist in Montana

Seller says they're from a 2008 "fj1300" with 3,000 miles on it. Wonder what he needs a more comfortable seat for, since he doesn't ride it. Or know the name of it.

I think the seller is saying the seats had 3000 miles on them when he replaced them in 2009. That is the way I read it. The fj1300 could be a typo.

Buy these and send them directly to Russell or Seth Laam, while you continue to ride on yours.

I couldn't find an answer in the comparo (click here) spreadsheet, but the seat pans in the photos look remarkably similar to my 2015 pans ... which just came back from Seth. Maybe you can PM a Seattle-ish member with a Gen 2, meet them for coffee, and test-fit seats.

I tried via text and phone calls and reached him. After looong discussions he's afraid of paypal/checks/whatever. Won't quote shipping. Too much trouble. Not worth the hassle.

Bummer, tiz. What kind of seller posts on the internet then doesn't accept checks or paypal? I usually offer a check, with the instructions to hold the merchandise until the check clears.
