Hi I have a 2010fjr and having problems starting .

It will turn over fine .

I have no fuel pump prime.

Also no spark.

And before and after turning over I have no imobilizer light.

I've checked all the spiders and all going to earth.

The pump has no 12 volts at prime stage .

I've also checked the plugs and cleaned and sprayed with wd40 as a measure for prevention in the future .

Side stand switch is ok.

The ECU does have a company name on it so im guessing it's been messed with in the past. (Key code company)

Anyone have an idea where do go next.

Andy

i have no immobiliser light i wouldnt have thought the run / stop . kill switch would cause the issues im getting . saying that when i flick the switch i can hear the relay next to the abs pump clicking

Probably worth checking fuses, in particular the fuel injection system fuse (see your owner's manual for its location). I have no idea why that might affect the immobiliser, but it would stop the fuel pump.

Ignition switch?  IIRC, there are two circuits.  One for turning starter over, and one for everything else?  Perhaps a bad wire connection to the switch?

Is this a new [to you] bike Andy or did the problem just begin? Any other strange problems before the no-start?

If you have a factory service manual you can look at diagnostic fault codes and tests you can perform while in diagnostics.  Do you have a fault lamp displayed on the dash?
