Hi,

I wasn't sure if I should put this up in Ride Reports or the Motorcycle Racing section. Since I did ride to the circuit, I suppose it qualifies as an RR. Just some pictures. No story line. Also, I had just recently sold my zoom lens so all I had on me was an ultra wide on my Canon 5D2 - which was absolutely the wrong equipment for trackside action shots. But that was all I had to take the shots.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Nik.

Nik ~

Great shots! I actually like the effect of the lens you used. The blurred background as you panned with the m/c gives a great feeling of motion and speed... work with what you've got, and do a great job with it!

The ladies are nice, too...

I gotta ask: How in hell do they get the bike up on the paddock stand with it under the bike like that?

Awesomeness. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

What a great race at a cool circuit to go see. I think I might put that on my bucket list.

Thanks for sharing the pics.
Thanks squeezer. If/when you do make it down here, look me up. I'd be more than happy to show you around.

Thanks dsmack. Yes. Yes. The ladies are very nice. But I didn't dare take any more - the SO would have me sleeping outside with the bike :(

As for getting the bike on the paddock stand. Easy. They lift the bike, put the stand under it, and put the bike back down. Those are pocket bikes, if you hadn't noticed. You could lift'em with one hand. :p

A good week on the forum. RRs with pics from both you and Frenchy! :D

Thanks, Nik.
Thanks Mike.
