Funny though, I seem to have blocked all memories from EOM09 and I didn't even have any of the pickled fruit.
That's when we went riding with Gary & Annie and Rob (and Art may have been with us) and you told us the, "Are you traveling alone?" story about the border crossing and we laughed for 5 minutes. You either had Bust's "altitude sickness" or food poisoning that day. We rode The Snake.

That help to jog any memories?

Oh - and IIRC, the pickled fruit for EOM09 was cherries. Nothing like those strawberries from EOM08.

you can use my place as a stop over if you need; we're probably going to head out Monday or Tuesday that week.

Time to bust out google maps and see how early I have to get up in the morning to make it there before dark.
Why don't you head down Saturday...run a SE Ohio loop on Sunday with a few of us linky, and then embark on the great migration to the southlands? :)

Oh ya! Good thing I have friends who can tell me what I did later. The fact that it's you scares me.

Now that you mention it, just why the feck was I leading the group down the Snake?

"Hey, lets take a guy, who rides like ****, had no sense of direction, is sick - then lets FOLLOW HIM!"

Two words, "Time. Off" Otherwise, great plan!

If I knew then what I know now, I woulda known something was really wrong with you. You never took us in a circle, you never took a wrong turn, we never saw the same piece of real estate twice... Yeah, you were definitely off your usual game.

I am in :p Got a room for Thursday night and leave Monday. Can't wait to see some new roads :yahoo: .

This may be my only big trip to the hills this fall and I want to stretch it out. Who plans to stay around on Sunday and leave Monday?

I'll be leaving on Monday. May be able take some of the same route home if you are interested.

It could happen, I plan to go to and from on back roads whenever possible.

Six weeks, 1 day, 11.5 hrs till launch! Woo Hoo!

Tic-toc, tic-toc, tic-toc....

Why is my damm clock going so slow?

I've done several SFO's but this will by my first EOM, and I'm really looking forward to this.

Registered! I'm going to be coming down solo from the Pittsburgh area on Thursday so if anyone is riding down from western PA around that time let me know. Also, anyone have room for another in a rider group? I'm not the fastest out there but certainly not the slowest... ;)

Even though it would appear from your on-line registration you don't want any folks from north of the 49th Parallel, I have registered sort of and paid. I couldn't input state and zip code because up here in the Great White North we don't have that crap.

We have Provinces, Territiories & Postal Codes. Just check with BeemerDon and he will explain it to you Southerners.

registered

now to plan a route north, probably with a Wed night stop somewhere near the Smokies

woo hoo...can't wait to pester enjoy Feejer peeps...

thanx for your kind consideration...there may be a beverage in it for success

<I won't be shocked if it's already there and I missed it>

all farkle sounds from the bike through amplirider to headset...another knob and switch

I lost count of all the additional audio wires

maybe I'll figure out what to do with the left side slider by then

extended back fender works so good, thinking about something for the tire side splashing...maybe that fringe on UPS trailers...
