I am rebuilding my FJR and basically need to replace the frame from the seat back. What model years would have the same frame?

So, you're talking subframe only? If so, probably 2006 and later would match the 2011, but there may be some subtle differences that make a difference...or not. It's possible the 2006-2015 match as they changed the plastic a bit starting 2016. I don't think anybody knows absolutely for sure on this one. If I were wanting to know for sure, I'd go check the part numbers of each year on online microfiche...which you can do yourself easily.

I checked the Yamaha parts database and found the part number for the "Rear Frame, Comp." was the same on similar models from 2006 - 2018. Mine is a 1300A, so I didn't look at the CA or ES models. That really opens up my shopping window.
