And a few of my pictures:

I rode in alone. I stopped & had a picnic lunch @ the fish hatchery right off of Rte 56:

I stopped on Rte 39 to take a few pics @ the Ingalls overlook. Boy, what a difference from last year's picture:

A Canuck invades & brought the group the good stuff:

Color was somewhat subdued... but looked pretty decent here. & we have a pic of folks, bikes & color. What more could you want?:

The Highland Inn in Monterey, VA... right across the street from where we had lunch:

The bikes after a long day of peeping... just waiting to be ridden the following day... some towards home & some towards new adventure:

One of the absolute best things about Old Clark Inn. This is the fire pit in the back yard:

Andy after shotgunning beers & laughing until he peed his pants (not really):

So, on my way home I decided to run my favorite part of Rte 250 twice. I scraped a peg on it! First time in a couple years. I stopped to take a pic of one of my favorite spots. You cannot tell how much elevation change takes place from this picture:

The end for now.

Great pics! I especially like the last one... :D

Yeah, for sure. & that SOLAS tape behind my red reflector cuts through the night well, too.
I did the same thing to mine and I didn't think it made much of a difference then one day buddy asked me when I put the 'full' light kit in my Givi. Money well spent!

Just an FYI that Alex also makes a kit to put pre-cut retro-reflective material in the lenses of some Givi top boxes.

I have it installed in my V46. Not positive which others models he does.

I'm sure that SOLAS tape was a lot less expensive than a kit... but it sure would be a good idea for someone who has nothing. I got the tape from an ex of mine years ago. I still have some put away somewhere. lol!

Smart girl, always wear your reflectors. They make you safe. :D

Mark, you do the search if you'd like to get some. Here are some images... they even show it being used in motorcycle applications. This stuff is awesome. When headlights hit it, it's like you are shining your brights back at them. Also, I was once told that SOLAS stands for Save Our Life At Sea. SOLAS TAPE

We rode Skyline Drive yesterday and it'll be at peak bloom for the next week or so, depending on where you are. PArts were like riding in a colorful tunnel. If you want to go, NOW is the time!
