I guess I'll do the seasonal thing and start my mileage tracking Wednesday when we take off for NAFO. That trip should get me close to 7500 for starters.

Patriot - we need to get together one weekend and share some mileage. :yahoo:
email me: mholiver at patriotguard dot org and I'll hook you up with my address/cell

I'm retired, so pretty much free most of the time

you work weekdays???

I'm kicking around a back road ride to B'ham to Barber at some point,

a ride along the coast on hwy 90, ride the Mobile Bay ferry, and either head home interstate or head for the Navy Air Museum in Pcola.

I ride 307 alot from Raceland to Vacherie as well for day rides.

So many roads, so little time

Ride Safe,

It was a warm winter in Iowa, and the bike was only parked for 3 weeks. Here's my start:

Looking at 9000 so far. Looks to be a banner year!

110,652 - 106,016 = 4,636 for the month of June, and 110,652 - 91,083 = 19,569 so far for the year. Halfway through!

19.5K for 1/2 the year!!! :drinks:

I'm at about 10K for the year. I hope my FJR will go to 150K like some of yours have. If not, guess I'll buy another one. It's only money...

17,390 miles for 2012 - Not too shabby for a weekender and by far my best and my favorite m/c year to date!! Hoping 2013 proves to be more of the same.

Not a bad year, just a little less than last year for total FJR miles ridden.

My 2nd FJR, the Hula Girl, was my primary FJR until October when I started riding the POS Gen II.

Hula Girl's ending 2012 mileage:

P1010144.jpg

So, 129,379 - 91,083 = 28,296 miles for the year for Hula Girl.

I had and rode my 4th FJR, the Oregon FJR, until I sold her in April. 65,115 - 61,140 = 3,975 miles for the year.

And last, and certainly least, the new POS Gen II 2009 FJR:

P1010141.jpg

10,487 - 1546 = 8,941 miles for year.

So, 28,296 + 3,975 + 8,941 = 41,212 FJR miles for 2012.

Just a bit less than the 42,550 miles I did in 2011.

I wonder what 2013 will have in store for me? I keep predicting significantly less miles yet keep on pouring them on.

I don't have the photographic evidence to back it up but I ended out with 28,086 miles for 2012. Mid-March to early December. Not bad for the frozen north and for someone who is still some years away from retirement.

No evidence

But for 2012

17,280 on the FJR

5,877 on the Ducati

8,302 in the cage

I call that a good year.

On the other end of the spectrum, I started with 275 on the Matchless in April and ended in Oct with 525. 250 awesome miles!

Hmmmmm...

Seems to me Gen 2 miles should be like a negative thing. Maybe you need to SUBTRACT those miles from your total.

On the '05

I ended with 129,431

I started with 90,862

_______

38,569 miles

The other 2 bikes- Not a clue

So in conclusion...

Skooter You Suck !!! (Can I say that to an admin.)

I've missed a few miles since the start of the year, but not enough to really matter. Logged 6500 miles since mid-September, so 2013 ought to be good. :D

Not that I have any designs on beating the high mileage dogs around here, but I was really slacking last year. Only 10,832 miles for 2012! The mileage total would have been better, but I was "stuck" in Europe for a month during peak riding season with my family and my son's high school graduation interfered with an annual high mileage trip in June.
