What's wrong with this picture?

Oh, I know. The bike is clean.

After spending last Sunday at the IBR checkpoint in RC, clean bikes look... Funny!

Enjoy.

Let's go break that thing in - Meet you in Zanesville tomorrow...
Good idea!

The engine smoothness on this thing is amazing. My 04 had 'sweet spots' but nothing like this. The stock seat SUCKS. Anybody selling a set of Gen 2/3 seats cheap or do I have to suffer until the next group by this winter? Tranny is as smooth as butter, but I need to adjust the lever throw, it engages at a different point that my 04. Handling is dead nuts stable. Stock windshield is very good, but still has some back pressure. The cruise is flippin' amazing. Set it and it +/- 1 km/h even up and down Northern Ontario hills. It's miles cooler even with the fan on - even though my 04 wasn't bad.

I still have to read the manual, but the digi-dash is pretty easy to figure out. I've been running around in touring mode and it's very smooth, but theirs noticable lag when you give the throttle a twist. Great for a carrying a passenger.

My buddy Fab rode ***** out to the dealer to ride my 04 back for me. What a laugh. Mister tricked out Ducati 728 on a couch-rocket. And I mean tricked out, GP shift, acres of carbon fibre, rear sets etc.. So he hops on the FJR and figures out its got WAY more power than the 728. He pulls out to pass somebody on the way back and I think he shifted down into 3rd and gassed it like his Duc. Damn near put it off the opposite side of the road! Then he comes up beside me with that look in his eye and shouts "I gotta get me one of these!" LOL!

Congrats. My 2013 has the best cruise control I've ever had on anything. It makes my Goldwing seem primitive by comparison.

I had said after trying both touring and sport mode that I'd probably never use tour mode again. But I discovered on a recent trip that I like tour mode better in stop and go traffic. I've got some old hand injuries that give me a lot of trouble when tired, and throttle / clutch coordination from a stand still was easier in tour mode. Other than that, it stays in sport mode all the time.

Very nice, I was just oogling that bike at the dealer yesterday. I left thinking my GenII is running strong but I could just move the seat, shock, and forks over and be good to go, I think.

Envious.

Lot of that going on.

Then I'm remembering what a pain it was to move all of my stuff from the '06' to the '10' and decided I'll be living with the '10' for a lot more years.
