2013 foot peg pads

Just installed my Gen 3 pads, and yes, they did in fact reduce vibrations in the pegs compared to the old pads. I'm very pleased! Well worth the money.

I removed the weighted plates from the driver pegs, though. This required buying and installing the shorter Gen 3 screws. I'm now considering putting one back on to see if that footpeg is even MORE stable with the weighted plate. Methinks Yamaha just removed them to shave some weight. It just seems strange that they'd go to the trouble to make more vibration-resistant peg rubber and then remove a vibration-reducing part like the weighted plate.

Well, for now, I have one foot peg with the weighted plate installed and one without. If I can tell any difference at all over my next few rides, I'll come back and give a report.
