Just an update. And yes, I am in the right year now.
After deciding I didn't have a good feeling about the local Ortho guy, I was referred to the Orthopedic group in Eugene, Oregon that takes care of the U of Oregon Ducks.

He decided I was healing pretty well and shouldn't need surgery. I have been off work for 4 weeks and will be off until at least Nov.13.

I am bored out of my freaking mind.

That's great to hear that you don't need surgery!

As far as the bored goes...hmmm, you could read up on the RRs from years gone by. I do that now and then. There are some pretty freakin amazing ones on this board/bored.

Glad you are mostly OK and won't need surgery. I had a similar incident the year past, details of which needn't be repeated. Shoulders banged up good, but ended up not needing surgery either! Lucky indeed and glad so were you!

I am going to be staying away from that deer infested area every September!
