While your getting the Givi painted you might as well send in the side panels and get them done. JMO

Other than that I am jealous.

yeah they are bikevis bullets.

I ran a sheilded bundle of wires form the fuzeblock under the seat up to the battery area - hot and ground for fuzeblock, several switched hot leads for 'stuff'. The bullet lights are connected there.

The Skene modulating brake lights are hooked up to the running and brake lights that run along the left side of the rear seat.

Dave if I get the side panels painted, will they scratch more easily than the silver plastic?

What a gorgeous, bad-*** motorcycle. Makes me miss being a FJR owner. But I am happy with my new-to-me 2008 Gold Wing, a bike switch that came after some long soul searching and 8 years of FJR ownership.

The 2014 model looks amazing.

Ride safe!

Very nice pics! I just noticed this, but to my eye the front fender being painted the same colour as the body changes the look quite significantly. It almost makes it look like the bike is "leaning back" a little compared to my 2013 "pavement grey" FJR with the fender in a near-black matte finish which makes the fender disappear a bit. I like it either way - different but good.

Was he referring to the black(ish) side ventilation panels? FWIW I wouldn't paint anything else red other than the top case. A little contrast is nice IMHO.

How do the bullet lights mount? I've been looking for something like this and this is the first time I've seen these. Very nice!

He was referring to the silver plastic panels that say FJR on them, the ones under the seats. I agree, they should be red. The 13' has them painted to match. Your question is one I have not thought about though, would the paint scratch more since your legs are over the top of them. The silver does match the engine covers, but I would like to see one with painted sides (not that anyone asked my opinion). That red is AWESOME!!

Camera is a Canon EOS 5D mkIII with a 24-105IS on it.

The hiviz lights are mounted on double sided tape (they are very light) and their wires are through a hole drilled into the reflector.

I am going to photoshop the panels red and also black to have a look at what it does for the bike. As it stands now though, I am not an unhappy guy.

Iris, quick and dirty

I personally don't care much about color and such but that looks sharp!
