My ES vin 000021 was picked up today at Roseville (CA) Yamaha. The buying experience was a pleasure. They gave me the Y.E.S. by reducing the list on the bike so I got the bike which is very high demand at what I consider a good deal. If you are thinking of buying a new bike and anywhere within reach of Roseville you may want to consider them. It is 88 miles from my home but well worth the trip!

Congratulations! We'll look forward to RR & photos.
First observations are; much smoother shifting trans, love the throttle by wire, easier to get up on center stand, seems to sit a tad lower than my 07 with seat in low position, the mirrors are crap. Will put on the FZ1 mirrors from my 07. The wind screen is too short. In full up it does not cut the wind blast. Anyone put the touring screen on yet? Off came those willy decals, gas tank and front fender. Now the admirers can ask what make is that bike? Several farkles on order, vibranators and tank pad. The large Suzuki Carbon Tank Pad is really cool. I have it on the 07 and it looks great. Carbon fiber fender extender will be here soon as well. I'll make a radiator protection screen from a steel mesh waste basket. After all that it should be ready to tour. Posting pics on this forum is above my pay grade. I have tried it and it says image too large or something to that effect.

Just curious, but are you ordering vibranators because your 1 day experience with the new bike reveals excessive vibration? Or are you anticipating excessive vibration?

Congrats!
Mind me asking if they were willing to reduce or waive freight and setup?
They would not waive the fgt or setup. They charge $500 fgt and $325 set up. I had checked with several local dealers and they would not waive any of those charges and quoted list price. None would include Y.E.S. at no charge. If the dealer had not worked the deal on the Y.E.S. I would have gone to D&H Cycle for the warrenty. They quoted me $389.

Actually, the bike is very smooth and I did not notice any vibration and only very mild buzz. This bike is so much smoother than my 07. Maybe I jumped the gun by ordering the vibranators before riding the new bike. Oh, I should add, the gals really get excited when I tell them the bike has vibranators. They line up to get a ride!!!

Congrats on the new '14 ES. Isn't it fun trying to figure out how you will farkle it to make it YOURS!?

Oh, you better not tell the girls the Vibranator REDUCES the vibrations. ;-)

Good for you, the Roseville folks are good to work with. Be sure to give them a chance to do any service work that you may not do yourself. Their Service Manager, Zac and crew do good work.

Congrats on the new '14!

Keep in mind, many of your farkles will transfer right over to the new scoot...Enjoy!

I am 6ft and 210lbs. also comments were how well it looked on the bike.

Big Congrats!

...say this new Red may take over as the prevalent color at our meets.

Bass-Bote-Blu will be demoted! (as da most popular color)
