just remembered that on my way to Houston on 12/21/15, about 9:00 am, I spotted a 2014 FJR in the eastbound I-10 lane just west of Lafayette, LA (perhaps Mile Marker 80-ish). The rider was wearing a high viz green jacket and was passing a vehicle like it was standing still.
My wife commented "Hey, that looks like your bike."
Very observant, Mom.
