This was an excellent specimen, congrats on getting the deal you wanted.

Too bad none of us (ME!!!) didn't do the right thing, but right now I have an 09 FJR that I love more than a lot of things, and a Saab 9-5 with a blown engine. If I didn't have one of those two, that bike would have been in my garage.

Good luck to that dealer asking $15,000 for a used 2014ES with 10K miles. It's late fall and the dealers are selling new ones for that price to move the carryover inventory.

Whoa! I just picked up my '13 from Burleson Power Sports for $12K. They really wanted the '13 off the floor though.

too bad someone here was not able to make the deal. but gad the OP was able to get where he wanted to be. it's good to have what ever you want. I have been there any times. after 48 bikes I know the feeling.

along the end of this thread I talked to a dealer in South Denver and he says his new on the floor 14ES is $14,300 plus tax

but I see on Craig's list you can get an ES for 13k a couple places

And the Smuggler as she sits on the happy new owners ride (I only bought the trunk and seat). All the parts coming together nicely if I do say. Have had a Corbin in the past and do like that it's lower than the Laam, can easily flatfoot it with my 32" inseam. Will give this a shot to see how it compares on longer rides. The Laam almost fits with the Smuggler it if weren't for the rear of the wings sticking out and back so far. About a half inch less padding in the back and I think it would.

And for those thinking of getting the rubberized techspec pads for the sides of the tanks as you see on mine. With the MCL lowering pegs, you knees shouldn't even reach the tank let alone rub them. Maybe even less so with the lower Corbin seat.

Now if it would warm up over 40.
