Just finished a 1,765 mile road trip on my 2014 FJR. It now has almost 83,000 miles on the odometer. Upgrades include swapping for the slipper clutch from the 2016 model, 2Brothers exhaust, Power Commander V, canyon bars, sliders, back off brake light flasher, K&N reusable air filter and Laam custom leather seats. Only unusual failure has been the need to replace the coils twice. I had two coils go bad at about 40,000 miles and another coil go bad last summer at about 80,000 miles. Both times I replaced all four coils. Valve checks have been normal. I do oil changes every 5,000 miles with 10W40 full synthetic AMSOIL motorcycle oil. I've run Michelin Road Pilot tires in all weather conditions.

Had a 2014 & put 105,000 on it in 38 months - NEVER a problem - loved it - now have a 2016 - nice pics by the way

My 06 AE just ticked over 70K. Got the bike near new in '11. Not one issue with the bike and still runs like a champ...
