You'll find that it's a lot easier to communicate in that part than in your part of the country. I'm sure you've been in the Ozarks and already know that.

I spent a few days near Doniphan, MO in 1991. Does that qualify? When I was there everyone I talked to were transplants from Northern Illinois so I never did hear what the local tongue sounded like.

Old Guy, I'm older- and gray, and if they run off, I'll join you and ride with you. I ride with those guys (HOONS) twice a year and they won't run off very far and wait at stops and turns.

I need one more long ride for the year and I may try to intercept on Saturday afternoon (depending on the route).
