According to the website, the Hwy to the sun should be open June 18. If someone is coming from the Northwet.

My first trip to Glacier Park and the Road to the Sun Road are on my August trip agenda.

Kev bring the S-Ten, I'll do a little off roading with you.

Its a four place trailer. If I get the urge to hook up and take more than one bike I won't stop loading until the trailer is full. The only thing that could be better than riding the Black Hills on the FJR is riding the Black Hills with all my bikes.

KJ will be so envious when I post pictures.

Lots of Puckerbrush between Denver and Spearfish.

Slab it up past Cheyenne to just past Wheatland WY, Go East to Gurnsey, North on WY270 to HWY 85, follow 85 North through Newcastle. About 20 miles North of Newcastle you have a decision to make,

Left on 585 (a beautiful sweeper filled seldom patrolled highway) which takes you to Sundance WY, the fastest way, to Spearfish via I-90 from there.

Straight ahead takes you through the Black Hills, over O'Neil Pass towards Lead/Deadwood. Just before Lead, 5 miles you will see Spearfish Canyon US 14A a certified Scenic byway which will take you directly to Spearfish.

When you hit the stoplight at the North end of the Canyon turn left and follow Colorado Blvd West until it turns right and becomes Main Street. Rally HQ, Bells Motor Lodge is on the right hand side on Main Street.

The "Official Speed Limit" coming through the Black Hills in SD will be 55 mph............ very few observe it.

As much as it pains me to do this I'll need to cancel on this gathering and ask that you remove me from the list. Actually Don's driveway is pretty good, it's just the 3 miles of ******* hell getting to the driveway. Don says as long as your over 50 mph it's fine.

My 55 ford truck didn't like it much.
